Alina Alexandrovna

Borned 1978 in Russia, raised in Ukraine and a citizen of Norway. Alina is ardently demonstrative in her art-making, knowing no bounds in medium or form. Passion meets play in Alexandrovna's seductive abstractions, alluring through an intoxicating blend of the real and the imagined. Digital art techniques are a tool for Alexandrovna to explore a plethora of subjects and shapes, and through them she exposes us to her inner self.

Alinas first step of formal education was completed by a university degree in fine art from the pedagogical University of Krivoj Rog in Ukraine. At the age of 21, after moving to Norway, she studied and teached at the Art & Design College in Oslo, followed by studies at the international recognized ESMOD Fashion School. The influence from fashion design has been a vital injection into Alinas development as a visual artist.

Winner of the 25'th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition. Jured by curator at the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. Received a Certificate of Excellence.
