Rob Ferencik

I was born in Amsterdam January 20th 1951.In 1968 I moved to Hanau (West Germany) to study Art at the Staatliche Zeichenakademie Hanau.In 1972, after finishing my study, I moved back to Amsterdam and took private lessons in painting and drawing. In 1977 I became a fulltime artist. In my early work I used different materials, later on I started to make my own tempera and oil colors. Nowadays I only work with oil on canvas.For more information you can visit my website am fascinated by history. For several years I worked on a series called "Heroes & Villains of the 20th century". A series of painting of important leaders of the 20th century.Today I am working on a series called "The XXth century" It is about changes in modern times.For more information you can visit my website
