Alex Suero is a Cuban born abstract and neo expressionism artist based in Miami, Florida. He first conceptualizes Art and reference past musical and life experiences which include the Cuban diasporas experiences.
He received his degree in Architecture and Art degree from Florida International University.
He started painting at an early age attending several figure drawing classes and sketching portraits of family members and religious figures which were quite accurate to life. He would in his youth accompany his older sister, an interior designer for Roche Bobois to various art Galleries and exhibits where he became well rounded in art concepts and art genres such as abstraction, figurative art, abstract expressionism and realism. His forte is in abstraction, neo expressionism, collage and mixed media . He creates art using different mediums such as collage,mixed media using acrylics, resins and graffiti techniques. My Art work evolves with no pre-conceived idea of what the end result will be. However, there will be a starting point;a concept, a feeling, a colour or shape, could also serve as a point of departure.
