Klaudia Zabek

Klaudia Zabek is a Polish artist who grew up in the UK, living in Windsor and part of the Windsor Artists Collective Group, creating abstract expressionistic art.

She studied Psychology which often inspires her work. She is largely inspired by emotions and instinct.

Her creative process involves creating layers of paint, typically starting off with acrylics, then finishing off with other mediums such as oil paint, pastels or gold leaf.

Symbolism, expression of deep desires, suppressed states and emotions, complex connections between ideas, objects, beliefs and emotions, facts and illusions... the human brain and state of an individual is complex enough, add a layer of connectivity between all humans, various relationships and chains of cause and effect in the world and you end up with a huge chaotic organism called life - such can only be captured and expressed in small snapshots through art.
