Joel Scruton

I'm a 30 year old contemporary artist from Doncaster in south Yorkshire.

I learned to paint from My brother sending me instructions from prison when I was a small child.

I lived a troubled childhood. Didnt have the chance to attend school much but when I did I was known as a prolific tagger known as tinka.
Everyone in my area recognised my tag and I still paint stencils of it today.

Since my trouble childhood I have managed to make a success of my self running music events to get my fix of my music love. I run a successful rave event in leeds. Which I try and bring into my paintings with vivid neon paints.

I love paints and art, but have no love for conformist and traditional arists concepts. You dont need classical training to be a great artist.

My art output is very high. Last month I painted 19 acrylic on canvas abstract and landscape paintings.
