Lesley Ryan

I am an artist from the North Coast of New South Wales Australia. I gained teaching qualifications from the University of Wollongong and for many years I taught intellectually and physically disabled children. I won the Rockdale art award when I was 12, at the time I was being tutored by well-known Australian artist Pamela Griffiths. I continued to study art on a part-time basis at East Sydney Technical College, Seaforth Technical College, and St George Technical College. I recently studied with the London College of Art and completed a diploma of painting and drawing and passed with distinction.

I have been teaching private students for 16 years. I have taught and studied painting overseas and I travel and study at every opportunity.
I have exhibited internationally, had many solo exhibitions and over 50 joint exhibitions.
I was a partner in an art gallery for 3 years, managing, teaching, and curating exhibitions.
My work is held in corporate and private collections.
