Hi to everyone, I'm Federico Petri, a risk manager of Intesa Sanpaolo bank.
I love art and my sister is a contemporary artist.
During the Covid-19 lockdown me and my sister have been started to work togheter.
We start to create the Souls sculptures.
They seem to "detach themselves" from the canvas. The limited series sculptures will be officially presented at the end of the year during a Solo show. Currently, they can only be purchased online. The Souls look like consistent shadows from dreamlike landscapes. These bodies with black profiles symbolize a new gender that is intense and alienated at the same time. The joint between the two souls seems to be closed in an alien dimension, distant from this world. Sweetnes and intensity are mixed in a continuous sinuous space-time making the real consistency itself like the extra-terrestrial material. Shiny joints blend among them and they are marked by the "red ball" signature that distinguishes the works of the Petri Federica artist from Turin.
