Rob Gruner

I create contemporary abstract art with acrylic paint on canvas, paper and panel.

Emotion means painting to me.

I choose abstract painting in which a synergy of form, color and material represent a new reality without getting stuck in traditions that have already showed us the same things over and over again.

While I am painting, the elements almost automatically find their way on the canvas, on which colors and tones adjust constantly.

The former no man’s land slowly starts to take the shape of a new world…, many times astonishing myself and those who step into the newly created world while contemplating the painting!
