Instinct is certainly something Viktor Leske, born into a large family in 1978 in Lyon,
has always trusted and built on. It was instinct which made him leave his successful
position as a hairdresser and clientele in Lyon behind to open his own salon in Berlin
in 2008. It was in Berlin that Viktor met the celebrated and undeniably individual
American artist Joanne Greenbaum, who was an immediate source of inspiration
for Viktor and a strong creative force. In July 2010, Viktor trusted his instincts once
again and began to paint without hesitation but with passion. Only four months later,
Viktor met Robert Büchmann and Jutta Jödicke, discerning art collectors, who recognised
his talent, buying one of his first works entited Agglomération. His work is a tour de force
of colour and Viktor describes it himself as windows to somewhat warped worlds where he
feels completely at peace.
Viktor is currently working on putting together his first collection for exhibition purposes.
Viktor has little room for hope, spending his time working between his salon in Kreuzberg
