David Reispinto

David Reis Pinto, was born in the south of Portugal, in the city of Faro on December 17th, 1987. At an early age he finds himself removed from his origins and goes to study in another city, Beja, where he finishes basic education at Mario Beirão School and secondary education at Liceu Diogo de Gouveia, in Arts, always with a very strong connection to the disciplines of drawing and plastic expression. Painting has always been present in every transition or change in his life, expressing itself with small watercolors, texts or just line compositions with Chinese ink. Expression and balance are important notions to transport from the architecture course to painting, playing with: the full space and empty space, with the contrasts between light and shadow, with colors and how they relate and enhance them, ith the thick line and the thin line, with the point and the plane, and mainly the importance of unity in the compositions that are projected.
