Florence Le Losq

This self-taught artist was born in 1958 near Nantes. Since childhood, art and painting have always accompanied and guided her. Florence worked as a fashion stylist and it is after a couple of years that she finally reconnects with her main passion that is painting. After acquiring maturity and serenity, she decided to leave the fashion industry and work entirely on her paintings. In 2001, she joined the studio of artist Pedro Portugal, who marked the evolution of her own plastic research. Drawing inspiration from everything that surrounds and composes her life, she experiments and deeply feels her paintings.

2001 - participation in various shows and collective exhibitions (Cholet, Bressuire, Niort)
October 2002 - exhibition at Galerie de Briord in Nantes.
June 2003 - exhibition at Theatre du Jardin de Verre in Cholet.
October 2003 - received an award at the Salon des Arts in Cholet.
December 2003 - solo exhibition at Galerie de Briord in Nantes.
May 2004 - obtain the first prize awarded by the city of Bressuire at the Salon des Arts.
June 2004 - exhibition at Galerie Marciano (Paris) / Atelier D’Arte run by Roberta Braceschi in Piacenza (Italy) / obtain second prize at the fifth Salon des Arts in Vigolzone (Italy).
May 2005 - exhibition at Galerie Weider (Auray).
September 2005 - solo exhibition at Galerie de Briord in Nantes.
January 2006 - exhibition at Galerie Shad in Toulouse.
March 2006 - exhibition in Puycerda (Spain).
May 2006 - solo exhibition at Chateau du Chene Landry in Cholet.
December 2006 - collective exhibition at the Galerie de Briord in Nantes.
May 2008 - Guest of Honour at Festival des Artistes in Rocheserviere.
Since December 2015 - Plastic research on the theme of portrait.
