Ilina Filipova

I have been painting and scribbling on walls since my childhood. I embrace a number of subjects as time moves on; floral, Mediterranean landscapes, nudes, abstracts, animals, clowns, historic and religious pieces are all areas I have put brush to canvas to produce works of art. The island of Malta is my home & base inspired by the sun, sand & sea; no doubt 300 days of sunshine give me the energy to paint the local rustic settings as well as diverse scenes. I spend a lot of time with individuals keen on a tailored painting to adorn their home or offices. I have been showcasing my artwork on the local Maltese scene in my studio and exhibiting at the Hilton and Phoenicia hotels for more than 20 years now. It is the right time I expand my portfolio on the European continent and globally and attract international clients.
