I am a Florida-based photographer and I mostly photograph water and landscapes. Having grown up in the mountains of Virginia, nature is deep in my blood. I see the practice of photography as a way to connect with nature, a higher power, myself, and ultimately to those who view my images. Art gives us a common ground, and I like being a part of something that can bring us all together. I like exploring the way darkness and light exist side by side in nature, and I always find it interesting how there is a beauty in that balance. One would look very different without the contrast of the other.
