Throughout my practice I have investigated and interoperated various scientific theories and have creatively explored the boundaries of reality and perception, occasional questioning the nature of both fact and fiction, drawing the viewer to the line of which they meet. I work largely but not exclusively through the medium of film, while I use a variety of materials each project is linked by recurring concerns and subject matter. Throughout my films sound takes principal, to induce a deeper level of atmosphere to my images. My influences are first and foremost everything I experience, feel and see combined with scientific theories. I am also influenced by documentaries, film, and reading. The style and feel of David Lynch's films are also a great inspiration, as I enjoy his use of sound along side the images, and the surreal aspects of his films.
