Vida Stefanovic

As craftsman i approach very seriously to technical demands of my art, but, at same time every piece is my intimate search for unity of man and his natural surrounding, through the symbols of beauty, harmony and sacral motifs of lost spirituality.I am passionate for painting and printmaking, art history and mythology. I work and exhibit as freelance artist ever since i finished Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2003. I like to use lino-cut as basic material because I enjoy process of cutting, I can quickly, directly and easily achieve result which I want, and by printing four or five matrices i can apply more color, colors are very important part of my artworks.
