DM for further information.
DMD is a Tokyo based Artist, Graphic Designer, Creative. He works in many mediums and techniques including intaglio printmaking, monotype, collage, watercolor, film photography & drawing. His collages started as simple exercises in abstract composition and color, and have since become an essential daily part of his design practice. He uses images and text found while digging through the many old used bookshops in Tokyo and rearranges and sometimes destroys them creating new compositions and meaning. In both his design and his artwork, he strives to make work in which the aesthetic is driven by concept and communication first.
