Beto Fame

Born and raised in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Beto Fame is an architect, graffiti artist and illustrator.

Since he was a child he always liked to draw and his greatest fun was to draw plans for apartments and houses. The interest in graffiti arose at the age of 13 when he started to make his first paintings on the street, where soon after he started to do his first commercial works.

A graduate of FAU UFRJ, he developed his inspiration in analyzing and illustrating cities and their multiple details, transcribing his vision for different platforms, from walls, screens and digital illustrations. The artist presents a sophisticated and unique line, portraying his vision of the urban landscape and the traditional graffiti calligraphies.
