Engaged or bathed in the black humor, one side sometimes
acid, sometimes cynical, the proposed work is from the
concerns of the artist, from what interpellate him.. The
medium is often chosen from the world media: pictures,
videos, posters.
The reflection on images is a central concern. Both the
ubiquitous image, the proliferation of media, the invasive
image that the image model, the image who suggests, but
also the the image who directs, that we are designing or
that we give to seeing to others. So many games on the
signs, signifiers and signified.
The work often seek to create a visual impact, in the manner
of advertising, strong images that seek to score, to create
the reflection. Without trying to shock them for free, works
seek to take us into a world sometimes offbeat, sometimes
black humor.
Finally, some works raise the question of the artist and
his relationship to society, its role and the role of his work
into it. Seeking does he dream, talk, make people think, just
decorate?
