In her works, Elena focuses on hand plastics. Why hand? What symbolism is this is this part of the body filled with? The symbolism of the hand is bassed on its role as a tool for influencing the world around us, as mediator in the tranfer of spiritual and physical energy. Hands are an expression of temperament, character and will. Therefore, hands have become an overarching theme for creativity.
