Many life experiences have influenced my art including teaching art at the University of Alaska, living and exhibiting in Lithuania, living and exhibiting in Los Angeles and in the Pacific Northwest.These and many people I have been privileged to know have influenced me deeply. My work tends to be of a mystical and dreamy nature. I get my insights from my surroundings and from ancient legends and myths. I believe in ancestral memory and I hope that my work invites viewers to experience a sense of place - both physical and mystical.
