Orest Manyuk

Orest Manyuk was born on the 16th of June 1956 in Lviv, Ukraine. In 1983 he graduated at the Lviv Art Academy in the Faculty of Ceramic Art. He learned from Professors like E. Mysko, M. Tkachenko, O. Dufanets, I.Yarema and M. Malavski.

He specializes in oil paintings. In his wide variety of different motives, Landscapes in particular are very prominent – especially the Ukrainian Carpathians and the native land, as well as the urban landscapes of Kyiv and Lviv. Mr. Manyuk works in a very impressionistic style, and sees himself in the Tradition of (and is inspired by) Artists like Renoir, Claude Monet and the Ukrainian Artist Ivan Trush. He travelled the world, painted the landscapes of Countries like Italy, Portugal, Greece, France and Great Britain, and took part at 120 national and international exhibitions and ‘plein airs’ of fine arts around Europe. He is the Co-founder of the artistic association “Vorynnya”, hosted 31 personal exhibitions in Ukraine, Europa and USA. Since 1995 he is a member of the association of Advertisers of Ukraine and a member of the Union of Artists since 2008. His Works are being known all over the world and kept in museums and private collections in 37 countries.
