Yula Kim

My paintings are inspired by nature, movement, and the feeling of being fully alive. Through layers of colour, line, and texture, I create imagined landscapes where birds, plants, and natural forms become reflections of personal experiences and emotions. Birds often appear as symbolic companions, representing freedom, curiosity, and the search for a sense of belonging. Using oil paint and natural pigments, I explore the beauty of the natural world and the moments that help us feel connected to ourselves and our surroundings.
