n abstract painting I find the form of expression that brings me closer to both informalist and material painting, as well as contemporary sculpture. Always close to the lyrical and the poetic.
In a subtle intention to break the two-dimensionality of the pictorial work.
My artistic work seeks, something more than a way of seeing, a poetic approach to human existence. Not with the desire to seek answers, if not to open a window to the viewer inviting thought, an inner journey.
The collage technique allows me to mix textures and materials. Thus the superposition of these and the glaze, seek evocation over representation. Like a chromatic sfumatto that invites you to enter the landscape.
In my works the textures that evoke landscapes alternate, where horizons appear and the more organic textures in clear reference to the cosmos that inhabits our interior.
