Elena Zaytseva

I am an artist with an Honours Degree in Educational psychology who has been bringing a passion for art since childhood. I was born in 1982 and grew up in a Russian village. I remember that I was thrilled to glaze the sky, trees,golden wheat fields and thought of paints that I would choose to depict them on a paper. Only by the middle of my age, after reading the book “The tenant of Wildfell Hall” I realize that my perception of the world is different from other people who I knew. That happened after I moved to Ireland and had more time to understand what I want to do in my life.

I work exclusively with oil paints which I feel able to capture the depth, volume and texture of the painting.

In 2011 I started to study painting by Russian Impressionist artist Igor Sakharov.
In 2013 I joined to local artists community in Dundalk and started to participate in an art fair and local art exhibitions.
In 2019 I finished a course at The Interior Design Institute ( Dublin). I decided not to stop on the things, I have achieved in the art and continue to develop an aesthetic perception of objects, colour and space.
