Ahmad Ahmadzadeh

We are ImaNeda—Iman and Neda—a Venice-based artist couple whose practice revolves around glass sculpture. Working alongside Murano’s master glassblowers, we employ kiln-casting, hot-modeling, lampworking and fusing to give contemporary form to centuries-old techniques.

Born in Iran, we first trained in glass and wood at the Tehran Academy of Fine Arts, then moved to Venice, where we earned BFA and MFA degrees in Sculpture and Decoration from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. While glass remains our primary language, we often invite wood and metal into the conversation, allowing each material to challenge and complete the others.
