Mirjana Stojković

MIRJANA MIT
(full name: Mirjana Mit. Stojkovic)

Mira Mit has been a member of both ULUS (Association of Fine Artists of Serbia)
and International Association of Fine Arts, since 1976 and 2005 respectively. She has had a great honor of being part of a board in charge of selecting Serbian
painting and sculpturing artists taking part in a cooperation program with the International Salon of Fine Arts (headquarter in Paris, Louvre).

She has had more than 50 solo exhibitions since 1973, in many different countries
such as China, Serbia, Canada, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and others, and has also taken part in more than 140 group exhibitions all over the world.
Finally, Mira Mit success can also be recognized through the fact that she is the only artist from Serbia who has had six solo exhibitions in China.

Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1968, Department of Decorative Painting , Belgrade, Serbia.

• 2006. “PRIX SPECIAL”, Salon 2006. de la Nationale des BEAUX –ARTS” LOUVRE, PARIS, FRANCE
• 1973. Purchase award at the 14th October Salon in Belgrade,Serbia
• 1979. Purchase award at “8th ULUS exhibition”, Serbia
• Also, she was the the 1st prize winner for painting in Serbia in 1974, 1977, and 1983.

Her artworks has been collected by the museums and galleries all over the world such as:
• Museum of Modern Art, Montenegro
• Loski Museum, Slovenia
• Palanka National Museum, Serbia,
• Gallery of Modern Art, Tunisia
• Serbian National Academy, Canada
Important Galleries in People Republic of China.

Mira’s artworks are in private collections of:
