I paint landscapes with a loose brushwork, focusing on the effects of shadows and lights, aiming to endow the scenery's shapes with an impression of light, guided by my own feelings about the experience. My work is mainly inspired by my travels in Italy, Greece and Romania.

I discovered painting as a form of "active meditation", an immersive act of mindfulness while expressing creativity.
