Serhiy Tymkul

Serhiy Tymkul was born in 1990 in Ukraine. After graduating in college of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 2010, he was working in the sphere of architecture and design. But few years later, he decided to become a freelance artist and fashion (shoemaking) designer. Due to the war activity Serhiy relocated from Odesa and currently lives and works in Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
The constant series of artworks based on the concept of poetic landscapes, he wants the viewer to see the beauty of the Ukraine through a combination of abstract visual and haiku three line verse. It is the reflection of travel experience around the diversity ukrainian lands: from the Crimean costs and rocks, south's steppes and to the Carpathian mountains and rivers.
"My artworks is about identity, humanity, self experience, journey into unconscious, a conceptual diary of my lifetime in Ukraine."
His paintings are in private collections in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Australia, Mexico, and Japan.
