Michal Fargo

Michal Fargo was born in Israel,1984.
She attended the Bezalel Academy between 2007-2011.
After her graduation she won the Sidney Myer Award which led to a solo exhibition at the Shepparton Art Museum.
That year she collected the 2nd place award at the BCA, Andenne, Belgium.
In 2013 Michal was invited by PCM to design 3 collections that were mass produced.
Later that year she won the Bronze award at the Kaolin Grand Prix competition in Jingdezhen, China.
In 2014 Michal won the prestigious Clore-Bezalel scholarship for attending the MA program at the Royal College of Art.
Michal was commissioned to design an edition of dinnerware to the Tate Modern’s restaurant.
After graduation, Michal relocated to Berlin Germany, taught at UdK for a year and had set up her own studio.
In 2019 Michal was selected as one of the finalists for the Loewe Craft prize that took place in Tokyo, Japan.
