Glenn Booth

I'm Kent delivered and nurtured. My studio is in the heart of the Kent downs and I live locally with easy access to all the the areas I draw inspiration from.
My work is inspired by one of many visits to the Kent coast. I live surrounded by a coastline that is significant in history and has a cultural contemporary significance. The Kent coastline is a historical witness to invasions resisted, repelled and lost.
Coastal towns such as Whitstable, Deal, Dover, Dymchurch, Dungeness, Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs all feature in my paintings and work and inspire the abstract themes and motifs

I Finished a BA Hons degree in fine art in 2003. I was educated locally at the Kent institute of art and design as it was known at the time (Now the University of creative arts)
