custode di antiche tradizioni.

Jewells

It is not an exaggeration to say that the jewels produced by master artisan
Sergio Figar in his atelier "Antracite Gioielli" ("Anthracite Jewels") are
unique, as Figar is the sole designer and executor of the jewels in their
every detail, down to the cut of the precious gems which he composes into
refined "mosaics".
For over twenty years he has courageously followed his own path of
aesthetic exploration, creating forms which are constantly innovative
while incorporating his knowledge of and experience with mosaic techniques
passed on from the Italian Renaissance. Using gems with a vast array of
particularities and nuances he is able with every commission through his
imagination and sensibility to skilfully create a irreplicable
polychromatic composition (there are variations and peculiarities inherent
to each jewel, even in those designs produced in extremely limited
edition).
The notion and concept of "jewel" is thus constantly renewed and
personalised by an aesthetic...
