I'm Bosie Howl, a painter and writer from Scotland. Yes, both mediums help each other because I often slip into that place between dreams and reality to write, and paint off the back of that- or vice versa. Painting poetry. Writing poems about art.

I go to sometimes dark, sometimes romantic, sometimes melancholic places. And there I either write it down or paint it.

My paintings are very much inspired by my vagabond travels. I've never felt at home anywhere and used that to fuel my art... that feeling of living in the moment.

I've seen it all- the high-flyers and the torn clothed poets, and me? I'd always pick the paint over the Chanel...
