Stacy Bonneau

After twenty years as an accountant, I moved from the rigid logic of spreadsheets into the intuitive language of abstraction. My paintings feature organic, irregular forms layered with paint, charcoal, pencil, fabric, and twine, creating textured surfaces that resist easy recognition.

These works act as visual metaphors for the complexity of human experience. While we instinctively categorize to make meaning, much of life exists in ambiguity. I invite viewers to look longer, question assumptions, and approach both the work and one another with curiosity.
