Gil Tapia

I'm a Belgian artist, born in 1993, with multiple facets. At the age of 16 I joined the art school ESA le 75 to study graphic design. Not being a fan of the school system, I left his studies during the second year to throw my body and soul into art, music and continue to learn in a self-taught manner. I makes music and visual arts a real playground for experimentation. Co-creator of the music group Lago, which later metamorphosed into Perfect Blue, I continues to write, compose and play the worlds I represents in my paintings. My universe is both dark and childlike, my painting is both spontaneous and researched. I have the will to sublimate the impact of the scars that we carry in us, to sublimate the monstrous.
