EXHIBITIONS

I am an artist born in Probolinggo and currently based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Through interdisciplinary artistic practices, I examine the relationship between ecological issues, language, and the complexities of social structures. My artistic research is grounded in contextual approaches and participatory gestures. This interdisciplinary practice allows me to express ideas and experiences through diverse artistic mediums, including painting, performance, scenography, and intermedia art.

Since 2016, I have extensively explored tobacco as both a plant and a commodity intertwined with the socio-cultural context of East Java—particularly in Probolinggo and Madura. Within my artistic research, tobacco serves as a lens to open deeper conversations around collective memory, economic disparity, social modalities, and environmental concerns.

As part of my collective practice, I am a member of Lembana Agroecosystem, a community-based art initiative rooted in cultural knowledge in Madura, East Java.
