Amanda Childs (b. 1984) is a Canadian abstract artist based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Her works are painted in an abstract expressionist style; she describes her painting process as “creating what I feel inside”.
Her work is inspired by geography, culture, the concepts of nostalgia & memory, nature and the arts. Postmodern design (mid-century) elements often infiltrate her work.
Her work has been featured in publications such as British Vogue and Vanity Fair; and featured in various exhibitions including Cultivate Gallery, Fronteer Gallery, Cole’s Gallery and the Thought Foundation.
