To see the city through color, light, and movement.
The city lives, breathes, and changes every second. At twilight, the streets transform into a symphony of light and shadow, and I strive to capture this fleeting beauty in my work.
I was born in Russia and lived in St. Petersburg for 16 years before moving to Almaty in 2022. Over time, my focus has increasingly shifted to urban landscapes, where light and movement take center stage.
My paintings depict cityscapes from different places—streets of St. Petersburg, Almaty, Istanbul, and various Italian cities. I explore the contrasts of the city—its glow, reflections, and quiet mystery.
I primarily work with oil and pastel, using subtle color nuances and rhythmic lines to convey the energy of the moment and the feeling of presence here and now.
