Valerio Valino, during the period of the State Institute of Art he produced paintings in larger and larger formats, by hybridizing the techniques he learned and, in those same years, he began playing the piano in local musical groups. As a multi-instrumentalist he
started to write scores with roots in both Classical and Contemporary Languages, as his Art wants.

The meeting with the masters of 'Scicli's Group', a great and well-known Sicilian school of painting, historicized and recognized all over the world, guided him to a more structured artistic research path, supported by a historical line with which he can carry on the hard and precious continuum of his masters. He graduated and, after a tutoring in favour of
disabled artists (which he‘s still following), he became Professor of Painting at the same State Academy of Fine Arts in Catania.
Catania is the town where he always returns after his travelling in places of the soul, such as Scicli, where in 2014 he officially entered as artist in the Quam gallery, or his beloved Aeolian Islands.
In the same islands, he self-produced artist residences, also diligently studying other forms of expression such as Writing, Photography, and Theater.
