Anna Kwiecien

My name is Anna Kwiecień. I was born in 1995. I've been creating since I can remember. Until now, I have a lot of folders of my Creativity from my childhood. My main interest is oil painting and people in it. I love to paint emotional states, experiences written on a human face and what is hidden in the eyes, because everything is expressed in them. As they say, the eyes are the mirror of the soul. I treat painting as a kind of meditation that frees me from fear and as spiritual development and learning about the inner compass, which I can listen to only in the act of creation. I love realism and impressionism. Surrealism is also close to my heart

I graduated from bachelor's studies in the field of Sociology of Advertising and Social Communication. While studying sociology, I took up studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, majoring in graphic arts. I stopped them during the 4th year due to pregnancy and single child care. I continue my artistic path painting what I like, i.e. people, without the limitations imposed by the university. More and more I come to the conclusion that I prefer to be self-taught and discover my artistic language on my own, because now I feel free to explore what attracts me.
