Kate Stet

My name is Kate Stet, I was born in 1989 and currently live and work in Kyiv, Ukraine. I hold a degree in Fine Arts from Poltava National Pedagogical University.
In my artistic practice, I explore the emotional layers of the human experience — inner tension, resilience, transformation, and the fragile balance between vulnerability and strength. My work tends to dissolve recognizable forms into gestures, textures, and color — hovering between abstraction and reality.
Painting, for me, is a way to speak about what can’t be easily put into words — the silent moments, the internal fractures, the pressure and beauty of simply being alive. I don’t aim to decorate — I aim to evoke.
Through rhythm, contrast, and intuition, I try to create spaces that invite the viewer not to understand, but to feel. Each work is a kind of conversation — open-ended, personal, and alive.
