My love to create began in the 1970s while living in New Jersey. I sat on the floor in my living room, with a big square frame that worked as a loom, and I produced giant woven wall hangings and macramé. My imagination took me to fascinating places, where I utilized feathers, all types of interesting beads, and anything with color that nature had to offer. If I could attach it to my weavings, there they went.

Then in the 1990s, I was living in South Florida and suddenly had a strong vision and desire of my creating art in a different form, painting. Luckily, I found a wonderful artist and teacher from France and attended her classes for many years, in a hot garage with one fan for 5 students and a teacher, loving every moment. Years later, I discovered abstract expressionism, and was totally hooked. This art form comes from deep within my heart and soul, my feelings and mood at that moment that I am holding a paint brush, ready to explore. Whatever my emotions are at the time of painting and creating appear on the canvas, so the end result is always a mystery and quite magical.
