Patrick Von Janicke

Film production illustrator and concept artist Patrick Jänicke aka Patrick von Janicke.

With an industrial design degree from his hometown Berlin, Germany he moved to Hollywood in 1992 to do production illustration and concept design for high concept film productions. Hence Patrick contributed fantastical vehicle, prop and architecture designs for dozens of Hollywood blockbusters including “Stargate”, “Blade”, “Godzilla”, “Speed Racer” and “Transformers”. As an authority of imaginative design concepts in the entertainment industry he appeared on TV shows such as “Jesse James’ Monster Garage” and in Scion’s “Reinvent the Wheels”. Parallel to his career as a concept artist in the film industry he keeps track of his own projects.
