Gustavo Martinez

Dedicated, curious, detailed and divergent. Since childhood I was always curious about manual activities, learning to mold different materials has given me flexibility when it comes to expressing. This, added to the sensitivity and emotional ups and downs of my family, resulted in the need to express through material.

At the age of 9 I began to study private drawing with a teacher from my neighborhood, named Gabriela del Valle. I studied at the Pablo Tavelli School of Arts and Crafts, located at Jujuy 3750 in the city of Mar del Plata, founded in 1941.
Already after 30 and until 40 years, I learned all kinds of trades and manual disciplines, cabinetmaking, carpentry, turning, marquetery, blacksmithing, sewing, printing on fabric, construction techniques, etc.
