Melinda Calway

I attempt to capture the detail & beauty not always noticed in the everyday flurry of life. I strive to lend an element of timelessness and a feeling of spirituality to my artwork. Most significantly I strive to show the innate connection and importance of nature in our lives.

I have taught visual art to gifted children through the Board of Education, Art classes to teachers & students in elementary school and photography to adults. For the past 19 years I have focused on instructing watercolour & drawing classes for adults.

Graduated with honours from the 3 year, full time program at “The Art Centre” in Toronto — studies included drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, photography and graphic design.
