Olga Akimtseva

I am SBA Award winner: Exhibiting Excellence in Watercolour (Plantae2024, London), a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists. With my paintings, I hope to convey the fascination with plants around us, and to remind about the fast-changing world and the value of all living things.

I holds a degree in economics and an MBA in Finance from the Higher School of Economics and built a successful career in the largest bank of East Europe. Precision in my work, attention to details, combined with love of drawing and interest in gardening led to a passion for botanical painting.

After experiencing in the financial industry for more than 25 years, in 2021 I have made the decision to transition away from that field. I am now committed to dedicating myself to botanical painting. My paintings have already been presented at numerous exhibitions, reflecting my dedication and passion for botanical art.
