Jon Piper

Hailing from Essex, England, I am farther, friend, husband and self-taught artist.
For the past 20 years I have been lucky enough to call British Columbia, Canada home.
My journey into art started in in the UK, but evolved when I found the beautiful Fraser River in Canada.
It truly is an inspiration.
Together with the birth of my children, I have found all the inspiration I need to create art.

I started using natural materials in wall hangings and sculpture, which are now being enjoyed world wide by collectors.
I have since experimented with canvas, paper and digital art to capture ideas and inspiration
I love minimal, abstract art and styles and each piece I lovingly create is unique and different.
To be honest, the wire, the paint, the materials, talk to me as I shape each piece by hand.
I love the diversity and simplicity in my art and hope you enjoy the every piece as much as I do having created it.
