Jeff Jolly

With working for over 30 years in medicine I have seen every possible human emotion. I have had the joy of telling someone they were about to bring a life into the world. I have also had the heart retching experience of telling someone they were going to die soon and there was nothing we could do to prevent it. Both were young women. Between having my own emotional experiences and witnessing in the faces of my patients; pain, joy, frustration, and rage have become emotional fodder for my work. My wish is for someone to looking upon my work and be deeply moved. Doing so creates a connection between us that is not limited by time and space.

I am self taught sculptor but with my medical education have studied extensively the human anatomy including cadaver work. Family practice was my training in the human condition and how body language tells a story
