Jessica Saudout

In 2019, after obtaining his Brevet des Métiers d'Arts en Horlogerie, I started an artistic preparation in the visual arts. I trained at the Atelier des Beaux-arts Supérieur in Bordeaux, with the plan to go and train in engraving school, this art is fascinating to me.

Following this artistic year, I was retained to follow a training in ornamental engraving at the Boulle school in Paris.

From my earliest memory, I draw the skeleton, it is at the heart of my artistic work.
I try to take it out of its scary picture that we can have by accompanying it with sweet and familiar symbols. It allows me to freeze in time stories, symbols and so many other representations.

She discovered wall art during an artist residency in 2022. Since then she has been experimenting with collage and wall painting by blending shadows and ancient motifs.

Artistil également engraves in painting, she carries out her work by applying between 40 to 60 layers of paint on a wooden support, then she engraves through the layers, revealing the colors below.
