Min Jung Kim

I am a painter who tells stories.

Some of my works are filled with childlike imagination while others carry the lively energy found in the colors and spirit of Korean tradition.

My work begins with a desire to creatively and emotionally reinterpret the beauty of nature, animals, and Korea’s unique cultural heritage.

The scenes I create feel like pieces of a dream, at first familiar but then layered with wonder and unexpected imagination. These worlds are shaped by the rhythm of my emotions, guided by curiosity and intuition.

I want to continue painting stories full of feeling. I hope my work gives someone a quiet sense of wonder, a little strength to take one more step forward and brings good energy through my paintings.

I graduated from Sungshin Women's University with the Department of Oriental Painting.
