Karen Welding

I studied art, specifically textiles but have since been drawn to painting and I love to create. I feel I am able to get fully absorbed into the process and enjoy building colors, shapes and textures. My work is loosely based on my environment in Scotland whether it be city tenements or beautiful costal scenes, I like to take some of the best bits and put it all together on canvas.

I studies my degree at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee in Scotland.
